Cogence also reserves the right to use information provided by or about the User for the following purposes:
- Contacting Users for offering new products or Programme.
- Contacting Users for taking product and Service feedback.
By affirming your assent to this Privacy Policy, you provide your consent to such use, collection and disclosure as required under applicable law. Cogence has implemented best international market practices and security policies, rules and technical measures to protect the personal data that it has under its control from unauthorised access, improper use or disclosure, unauthorised modification and unlawful destruction or accidental loss. However, for any data loss or theft due to unauthorized access to the User’s electronic devices through which the User avails the platform, Cogence shall not be held liable for any loss whatsoever incurred by the User. Cogence implements reasonable security practices and procedures and has a comprehensive documented information security programme and information security policies that contain managerial, technical, operational and physical security control measures that are commensurate with respect to the information being collected and the nature of Cogence’s business.
RETENTION OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
We retain your personal information for a period of five (5) years, or only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this Policy, maintain your active account, provide our services, unless retention is necessary for compliance with applicable laws. However, we shall not be liable for the non-deletion of certain data within a specific time frame due to technological constraints.
